About the role

As a Product engineer at our client, you will be a part of our clients Product Maintenance team who is responsible for performing engineering changes of the existing products in the Neuro portfolio including Leksell Gamma Knife and Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System under their entire product life cycle.

You will also be part of an agile scrum team responsible for Product maintenance and service of the Neuro products working with the issues that are of the highest priority to the company and to the customers.

Job duties

  • Resolving product defects

  • Implementing product enhancements

  • Releasing product updates to manufacturing

  • Implementing product cost reductions

  • Resolving component obsolescence issues

  • Resolving manufacturing issues

  • Act as technical support to our clients suppliers (production)

  • Verifying as part of engineering changes

We are looking for

You who:

  • Have a Bachelor or a Master's degree in either mechanical or electrical engineering

  • Have at least 3+ years of work experience, preferably within the Medical Device industry

  • Have experience from manufacturing processes, design change control and risk analysis and requirements

  • Have experience of contact with suppliers/production and creating manufacturing documentation

  • Are fluent in English, knowledge in Swedish is a plus

  • Have a valid work visa, permanent residency or citizenship in Sweden

We see it as a plus if you have experience of:

  • Working in PLM/PDM and ERP system (Enovia and M3)

  • 3D CAD (Solid Works)

  • Reach, RoHs and EMC compliance

  • ISO 13485 and QSR

  • Agile (SAFE)

  • Verification, testing and validation

You are a driven person with great communication and coordination skills. We also think that you have eminent networking skills and are a team player who enjoys being flexible to change of priorities. We believe that you are a person who thrives in Operations more than Product development.

  • Work extent: Full time, temporary position until june 2023

  • Location: Stockholm
